The hot dry weather, and a low Canadian dollar are all good news for the tourist industry in the Quinte region.
That’s the word from manager of Quinte West Chamber of Commerce Suzanne Andrews.
Andrews says there are lots of American boaters going up the Trent Severn Waterway.
She says tourists are attracted to various parts of the region, particularly Prince Edward County.
Andrews says there is such a variety of activities throughout the Quinte area, everyone benefits from the tourism.
