A man charged with internet child luring has been sentenced in a Belleville courtroom.
A report in the Intelligencer says 29 year old Jason James Wight was sentenced to six months in jail plus 18 months probation.
Wight had pleaded guilty to the luring charge.
He was arrested in July of last year after an OPP officer posed as a 14 year old girl and the pair exchanged messages on a website.
The pair arranged a meeting, but Wight didn’t show up.
