A council meeting has come and gone Monday and no announcement from Belleville City Council on hockey.
Last week during the Mayor’s Implementation Team meeting, Taso Christopher said he expected an announcement early this week one way or another.
Following Monday’s closed session, Christopher says nothing has changed and there is still nothing to announce.
Taso Christopher continued.
When asked if an announcement is expected later this week, Christopher said nothing has been planned as of yet.
Despite the hint that the meeting would be about hockey, Christopher stayed quiet on the topic of Monday’s closed council session.
