The Eastern Ontario Development Fund is supporting a local company that has made a major financial investment.
On Tuesday, MPP Lou Rinaldi visited Cam Tran in Colborne, to announce $300,000 for their site expansion on Purdy Street.
Cam Tran refurbishes and retrofits transformers for utility companies across North America.
Rinaldi says the E.O.D.F has done its job.
Cam Tran has spent $4 million on an addition, which will make their operation more efficient.
Rinaldi says they are adding 16 new jobs, bringing their total workforce to 150.
