It was another extremely successful Relay for Life event in Belleville over the weekend.
Cancer survivors and their families walked the track at Loyalist College for 12 hours, raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society’s local chapter.
Organizer Brad Warner says they were able to bring in $190,000 during this year’s event and plans are already in the works for next year.
Across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, Relay for Life events raised more than $450,000.
