An early start for city councillors today as Belleville council meets Monday morning for their regular council meeting.
On the docket with be several deputations, including Doug Churcher from Welch and Company.
He will update council on their financials.
Council is also expected to approve the naming of Rink B in the Wellness Centre for Mackay Insurance.
They will be looking for approval on renovations to the main entrance of city hall, to make it more accessible.
The current lift in city hall has outlived its life span and cannot be operated alone. That project is expected to be around $600,000.
Meantime, one of the worst roads in Belleville could be getting a face lift.
Staff is recommending a bid by Kiley Paving for more than $30,000 in repairs, for the stretch from the C.P tracks to St. Paul Street.
Council meets beginning at 10:00 a.m. at city hall.
