OPP and ambulance responded after 3 yesterday (Saturday) afternoon after a woman was discovered floating face down near the shores of Lake Ontario in the Barcovan Beach area south of Brighton.
Monitoring Quinte reports the woman was 63 years of age and still alive when brought to shore.
She was taken by ambulance to Trenton Memorial Hospital.
