Perfect weather and spectacular aerial performances exceeded organizers’ attendance expectations on the first day of The Quinte International Air Show.
Cpt Julie Brunet, 8-Wing Public Affairs, said that officials hoped to attract 30,000 people to the event, though they planned for 50,000. She said that anticipated crowd count to be upwards of 40,000 people for Saturday and a similar crowd is expected today.

Sunday’s program is the same as Saturday’s modified schedule. The flying is slated to begin around noon, though a pre-show search-and-rescue demonstration should start at about 11:30.
