Calling all swimmers to Roblin Lake in Ameliasburgh to help raise funds for the YMCA Strong Kids campaign.
The Strong Kids Swim 100 lengths is happening this Tuesday with swimmers of all ages welcome to take part in the 1.5K swim or 3K.
The YMCA of Central East Ontario has set a $150,000 goal for its strong kids campaign. The campaign assists young people with opportunities that help them achieve their goals, improve their lives and reach their potential.
There is a minimum fee of $25 per participant or family. Swimmers are encouraged to bring a life jacket.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the swim starts at 9 a.m. Plus a potluck lunch to follow at noon.
