Theft- Residential
Belleville, Ontario- On the 24th of June at approximately 3:45 p.m. Belleville Police investigated the theft of a scooter from a Charles Street residence. A male suspect described as Caucasian being 15 years of age, removed a black Phoenix Scooter with green wheels and handgrips from the residence. Distraction Theft – Commercial
Belleville, Ontario- On the 24th of June at approximately 5:55 p.m. Belleville Police investigated the theft of money from a North Front Street business. Two suspects entered the store with one male distracting the clerk while the other removed cash from the register. Both males then fled. The males are described as having a dark complexion, 5’10”, slim build, with one wearing a red button up shirt and the second wearing a grey shirt and khaki shorts. Domestic Disturbance – Arrest
Belleville, Ontario- On the 24th of June 2016 at 10:15 p.m. Belleville Police investigated a disturbance on Evans Street. Investigation determined that a male had assaulted a female in a residence nearby. A 22 year old male from Belleville was arrested and charged with Assault. He is being held in custody for a bail hearing on Monday June 27, 2016. The female was treated at hospital for her injuries.
