A 23 year-old man from Quinte West is facing charges, after misleading police in the Ottawa Valley earlier this week.
OPP stopped a car for a highway traffic act violation, on the evening of June 20th and the man in the passenger seat gave police a false name.
An investigation found the man to actually be breaching alcohol and curfew conditions, so he was taken into custody.
Dustin James Kinmond is charged with obstructing police and three counts of breaching recognizance.
He had a bail hearing the next day and was remanded back into custody until his next court date, on June 29th, in Pembroke.
