The cause of a fire in Trenton Tuesday night still is not known.
Around 6:00 p.m, Quinte West fire crews were called to 27 Hannah Street in Trenton, just off Marmora Street, after a small fire began on the back deck.
The blaze heavily destroyed the home, with damage estimated at $250,000.
Fire Chief John Whalen says the cause is undetermined at this time.
There was some minor exterior damage to a nearby apartment building.
