The communities surrounding the Wing are advised that a section of Hwy 2, between RCAF Rd. and Anson Ave. (main CFB Trenton gate), will be closed to vehicular traffic in order to open a pedestrian crossing from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on both June 25th and 26th. It is asked that through traffic plan accordingly to avoid the area.
Parking on 8 Wing property will be limited mainly to QIAS Experience, VIP and Early Bird parking pass holders, those with valid Limited Mobility parking permits, and QIAS 2016 staff. As such, those with General Admission passes are encouraged to take advantage of one of the two free shuttles departing frequently from downtown Trenton (field southwest of Creswell Dr. and Dufferin Ave.) and Loyalist College (main entrance off Wallbridge Loyalist Rd.). Attendants will be present at both shuttle hubs to assist QIAS attendees with parking and shuttle use.
