On June 21, 2016, the Military Police from the Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Trenton, contacted the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Quinte West detachment and requested assistance with a death investigation.
Military Police located a deceased female in her residence at CFB Trenton and she has been identified as 32 year old Jasmine REID of Trenton, ON.
The investigation is in the preliminary stages and a post mortem has been scheduled for June 22, 2016 at the Ottawa Hospital.
The Quinte West OPP Crime Unit and Canadian Forces National Investigation Service (CFNIS), under the direction of Detective Inspector Rob Hagerman and Detective Staff Sergeant Rob Lake of the OPP Criminal investigation Branch (CIB), is continuing with the investigation.
