The plan to have the $10 million Build Belleville improvement to a couple of Thurlow ward roads this year has run into some delays.
Last year the city completed the overall planning for Mineral Road and Maitland Drive.
Project manager Deanna O’Leary says the idea was to go ahead with construction work on both roads in 2016 but there’s been a holdup.
O’Leary now expects the work to go ahead in 2017.
She says the main driver for the project is to extend sanitary and storm sewers and a watermain to the area.
