Brighton council has voted to find out more about what a water tower could do for the community.
Last night, council decided to ask for quotes to see if a water tower would provide a better back up system for water distribution than building a second watermain from the water plant into town.
Meanwhile, council accepted a tender of close to $44,000 from a Brantford architectural firm to do a design for renovations to the municipal offices and library.
Brighton council has set aside a total of $500,000 for the renovations.
