The numbers are out for the Torch Run through Belleville last week and they’re looking good for the Special Olympics.
Members of Belleville’s Police Force took to the street for the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run and raised $2,165.
The money goes to support Special Olympics Ontario. It assists community programs with a variety of expenses including travel to games, accommodations, meals, staff support, grants to new community programs, athlete training, volunteer/coach training and initiatives like school programs.
