Break and Enter
Belleville, On – On 18 June, 2016 police responded to 2 complaints of break and enter from residents on Dufferin Ave.
One residence was entered between 11:30 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. on 19 June, 2016. The unknown suspect(s) stole a lap top and personal items.
The second residence had unknown person(s) inside the garage sometime overnight.
Liquor License Act
Belleville, On – On 18 June, 2016 at 11:51 a.m. police were requested to attend at the bus terminal on Pinnacle Street in response to a report of an intoxicated male. This male was arrested for his own protection and later released.
On 19 June, 2016 at 3:02 a.m. police were patrolling the area of North Front and Tracey Streets where a male was arrested for public intoxication and arrested for his own protection. The male was later released.
Single Vehicle Collision
Belleville, Ontario – On 19 June, 2016 at just past midnight police were called to investigate a single motor vehicle collision at North Front and Tracey Streets. It was reported that the vehicle struck the pole. Investigation of this incident resulted in the driver of the vehicle being charged with Impaired Driving, Over 80 mgs alcohol and Obstruct Police and is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on Thursday 30 June, 2016.
Thefts from Motor Vehicle
Belleville, On – Overnight on 18 June, 2016 several vehicles and garages were entered in the east end of the city. The thieves ransacked and stole loose money from the vehicles and also stole bicycles.
Belleville Police Service would like to remind citizens to secure all belongings by locking doors and windows.
