In total, 135 people from our region will be recognized this week for service with various organizations, including local Lions clubs, hospital foundations, children’s aid societies and more.
Some of those being recognized have served their organizations for up to 40 years, including Ruth Edwards, Art Foland and Wilmot Kennedy with the Trenton Lions Club, and Trudy Shugg with the Belleville General Hospital Auxilliary.
Terry Campbell and Dan Freymond will also be honoured for thier 15 years work with the Bancroft Area Stewardship Council.
The ceremony will be held at the Banquet Centre in Belleville, Starting at 7:30 Tuesday night.
