A Belleville man will stand trial on a second degree murder charge.
A preliminary hearing for 55 year old Philip Post determined there was enough evidence to
proceed to a criminal trial.
Post was charged late last year after 54 year old William McFarland died after being assaulted at his home.
Post is in custody, and appears in Superior Court again next month. A date for a trial has not been set.
