After a one year absence, Canada will be back on the medal podium at the World Women’s Inline Hockey Championship in Italy. Whether it’s gold or silver will be decided today.
Belleville’s Jackie Jarrell and Team Canada shut out France 3-0 in yesterday’s semi final, setting up a date with the U.S. for gold this afternoon. Perhaps coincidentally, Canada did not medal at least year’s World Championship which Jarrell missed to open a new business. This will be Jarrell’s 8th medal in her nine appearances.
