Belleville’s Jackie Jarrell scored twice including the winner as Team Canada defeated host Italy 5-1 to close out the round robin portion of the World Women’s Inline Hockey Championships. Jarrell has 6 goals in five games.
Chatham’s Brooke Ludolph, who has family in Belleville also scored.
Canada finished first in their pool with 4 wins and a tie. They play France in today’s semi final.
