A grass fire got out of hand Thursday morning in Quinte West.
A woman with a permit was burning near north Murray on Will Johnson Road around 11:00 a.m., when the breeze kicked up and took the flames away.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whalen says it is very dry in the region and a burn ban may be their next move.
