The provincial government is investing in palliative care. The Liberal government is spending close to 14 million dollars over 3 years to improve hospice services.
The money is part of a bigger 75 million dollar investment in end of life care and was part of this year’s provincial budget.
Today (Thursday), local MPP Lou Rinaldi was in Picton announcing additional funding for a local facility.
Hospice Prince Edward, a three bed home, will receive another $45,000 in financial support from the province.
