On Tuesday June 14th, 2016, at approximately 11:30 a.m. officers with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Quinte West detachment responded to several traffic complaints regarding a possible impaired driver travelling westbound on Highway 401 from Belleville.
Witnesses observed the suspect vehicle attend a Reid Street residence in the City of Trenton, where a short time later, Quinte West OPP arrested the female driver for impaired driving.
A 53 year old from Lansdowne Ontario has been charged with:
Driving a motor vehicle while ability impaired by alcohol and
Driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and will appear in court on June 30th, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
