Some new charges have been laid against the 29 year-old Trenton man, who was involved in a five hour standoff with Quinte West OPP on Sunday night.
Police responded to the Belvedere Road home around 7:45 p.m., after the man locked himself inside his home and threatened to destroy it, following a domestic-related incident.
The emergency response, tactical, crisis and K-9 teams were all called in during the incident, which ended when the man was taken into custody around 1:00 a.m. Monday.
Police say nobody was injured, but they did find a small marijuana grow operation and other drug paraphernalia.
The accused, whose name isn’t being released, is charged with uttering threats, attempted arson and production of marijuana.
He was held in custody for a bail hearing on Thursday.
