The two-year renovation of the Hastings County building in Belleville is drawing to a close.
The $5 million renovation began in 2014 and is expected to be completed later this year.
It began with a completely new county council chambers.
Deputy Clerk Jim Duffin says stage four, committee rooms and stairwells, is now being completed.
That final stage will include renovation of the “stone house” at the east side of the building.
Duffin expects the project to come in on budget.
