OPP are not releasing details of an incident late Friday afternoon in the area of the Blessington General Store on Blessington Road, north of Shannonville.
There was a heavy police presence with eyewitness accounts telling Quinte News that OPP canine and emergency response units were involved.
A social media report suggested a male was taken into custody however, OPP say there were no charges and nothing else about the incident is being released.
