A water main leak has led to some period traffic disruptions on a section of County Road 49 in Prince Edward County this afternoon.
Works crews started working at the scene, between Edgecliffe Crescent and McFarland Memorial Home at 1:30 this afternoon and will be there until about 6:00.
Water quality won’t be affected, but some residents near the site might notice changes in pressure or colour.
If your water does become discoloured, you should just run the cold tap closest to your water metre, once the work is finished.
