Chocolate milk drinkers should take notice of an updated recall notice, due to concerns of listeria contamination.
The warning covers Neilson brand partly-skimmed chocolate milk, produced at Saputo’s Georgetown Facility and have been sold in Ontario and Quebec.
The plant number of 1590 can be found on the side of product cartons, which may help you identify if you have contaminated product.
The local health unit says symptoms of illness from listeria can include vomiting, nausia, fever, muscle aches, headache and more.
Officials also say, even though your product doesn’t look or smell spoiled, it may still be contaminated.
