Quinte West council is likely to move forward with more beautification to property at the mouth of the Trent River.
At its meeting tonight, council will be asked to give the go ahead for a “Hugh O’Neil Memorial Garden” to be built on land next to the Trent Port Marina.
It’s hoped that construction on the garden honoring the late former MPP and businessman will begin this fall.
Quinte West council meets tonight at 6:30 at city hall.
