A military CH-146 Griffon helicopter from 424 Search and Transport Squadron from CFB Trenton conducted a successful mission near Port Credit Friday evening.
A boater had run into trouble, and Search and Rescue technicians were dropped into the water and swam to the scene, where they helped others stabilize a man, who was then hoisted up into the chopper and airlifted to St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto.
