Brighton residents are invited to a public information session to learn how to access programs and services once the health unit office in that community closes later this month.
The Brighton office of the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge district Health Unit is closing June 30 due to financial constraints.
But Medical Officer of Health Dr. Lynn Noseworthy says the Health Unit will continue to have a presence in the community and continue to offer programs from a variety of locations.
The info session is at the current Brighton health unit on June 9th from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
