UPDATE 2:30 P.M.: Power has been restored to the affected homes.
About 4,600 people are without power in the Campbellford and Stirling area.
The lights went out around 11 a.m.
The cause is still under investigation.
Hydro One estimates the lights to be back on around 2:30 p.m. this afternoon.
