A celebration of life and visitation will be held this weekend, for a beloved member of the community, who lost a battle with cancer recently.
BJ Ketcheson was well known as an avid hockey player, who spent time in the Ontario Hockey League with the Peterborough Petes and the then Mississauga Ice Dogs and also playing senior hockey for the Belleville McFarlands and the Wellington Dukes.
The Napanee native was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer in 2013 and passed away on May 22nd.
Visitation will be held Friday June 3 at Parkdale Baptist Church in Belleville, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday June 4, also at Parkdale Baptist Church, with visitation begining at noon.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to Hockey Ministries International or the church.
