Police officers have to deal with a lot of serious calls, but some of them must leave them shaking their heads.
Last week, in Northumberland County, OPP report receiving a 911 call from a female who would only state, “I have an idiot boyfriend.” She then hung up. Police were not able to find the caller.
In another incident last week, a father in Trent Hills called 911 to complain that his son was leaving stuff lying all over the house and not cleaning up after himself.
OPP provided some parenting advice and some instruction on what the 911 number should be used for.
