The Hastings Prince Edward School Board has announced the name of their new school.
Director of Education Mandy Savery Whiteway.
The sports teams will be known as the Voyageurs.
The name was taken after a vote earlier this year.
Savery Whiteway says the school, site of the former Queen Elizabeth School, is on time and on budget.
College Street, Breadner Elementary and Queen Elizabeth students will all call the school home come January of 2017.
