There was a house fire north of Madoc over night.
Fire crews were called around midnight to 16354 Highway 62, near Deloro Road, after a home was engulfed in flames.
Fire members were on scene for hours fighting the stubborn blaze, which destroyed the house.
No word yet on a damage estimate, cause or if there were injures.
