It did not take long for George Burnett to find a new job.
The long time Belleville Bulls head coach and G.M was relieved of his duties with the Hamilton Bulldogs earlier this year, but now finds himself in Flint.
Burnett will act as the Firebirds’ General Manager for the foreseeable future.
The troubled team is being overseen by the Ontario Hockey League, after numerous off ice issues over the past season.
They moved from Plymouth last summer.
