FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(BELLEVILLE) – The devastating wildfires in Fort McMurray have prompted a massive relief effort in Quinte. Member of Provincial Parliament for Prince Edward-Hastings Todd Smith says Operation Pack 4 Fort Mac started last week after he received a call from the owner of a local business.

Since then we’ve been coordinating with Belleville Firefighters, Alberta Emergency Measures, the Canadian Red Cross and organizers of the Furball’s Choice relief effort.” Smith stated.
