The Belleville Police Association has made a donation to the Food 4 Learning program.
This morning at the public school board office, members of the association were on hand to donate $1,000 to the program, which provides meals for local children.
Belleville Police spokesperson Sherri Meeks says it’s a no brainer to support local kids.
About 10,000 local children take advantage of the program on an annual basis.
