Quinte West council will vote on whether there could be a community gardens in the city next spring.
At its meeting tomorrow, council will see a recommendation that it donate about 3 acres of land to the
volunteer group, Quinte West Community Gardens.
The land is off of Guelph Street, next to the public works yard in Trenton.
However, the group must still present a business case to council before a lease will be offered.
Quinte West council meets tomorrow at 6:30 at city hall.
