A small town rink has become a big issue along the highway 7 corridor north of Belleville.
Centre Hastings council has taken legal action against its neighbor Madoc Township over what it sees as a
lack of financial support from the Township.
And now, Madoc Township council is discussing pushing to have the Madoc and District Recreation Centre shut
down because it’s too expensive to run.
