The food industry in the Quinte region could see some new developments in the future.
Quinte Economic Development Commission is promoting Quinte as a good place to get into the food business.
Executive director Chris King says he has been to two food sector trade shows recently promoting this area.
King says it’s important that a “cluster of food industries ” has located here.
King says he had a good response at the trade shows, and the fact that the Quinte region has easy access to the United States border crossing is always important.
