The local real estate market is strong these days.
According to stats collected by the Quinte District Association of Realtors the number of homes sold last month was about 20 percent higher than in April of 2015.
Last month, 397 residences were sold in the Quinte region, while in April of last year, just 330 were sold.
Dollar value on the sales is up 30 percent year over year.
President of the Association Cathy Polan says demand for homes is high, but the supply of homes for sale is low, down about 25 percent from last year.
