The Belleville Police Service responded to 70 calls for service between 4 May 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and 5 May 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Assault
On 4 May 2016 at 9:31 a.m. Police were called to an east end residence after a report of an assault on a 42 year old female victim. Police arrested and charged a 43 year old Belleville man with assault and he was later released with conditions and a court date. No injuries. No further details being released per domestic policy.
Residential Break and Enter
On 4 May 2016 at 11:17 a.m. Police were called to a residence on Cooke Court in the east end for a report of a break and enter. The crime occurred between 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. with entry via a rear door. Stolen was jewelry. Anyone with information is asked to call Constable Paul Fyke or Crime-stoppers.
