We are learning more details about a pertussis (whooping cough) outbreak at a Bancroft area public school.
At Wednesday’s board of health meeting, members were informed there was one confirmed case on April 29, at the North Hastings Public School in Bird’s Creek.
Spokseman Bill Sherlock says there were 65 students at risk because they didn’t have up to date immunizations.
