The Trenton Golden Hawks started the scoring off early and ultimately won their first game at the Dudley Hewitt Championship against the Soo Thunderbirds 4-2.
Lucas Brown, Adam Clements, Josh Allan, Hunter Fargey scored for the G-Hawks.
Trenton outshot T-Birds 31-38.
Daniel Urbani was fierce stopping 29 of 31 shots on net.
Trenton’s next game is against the host city the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners, Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
