A Frankford couple is angry with Ontario Lottery Gaming for delaying payment on a $10,000 scratch ticket win.
Pennie Clark says her husband Ron bought her the ticket for Valentine’s and she recently discovered the win.
However, she wasn’t able to sign her name in the designated area on the ticket, so instead signed the back.
At OLG headquarters yesterday (Monday), the Corporation decided to not pay out in order to investigate the ownership of the ticket.
Pennie Clark said the Mac’s store video has the answers.
An OLG spokesperson tells Quinte News he can’t comment on specific cases, but any disputed ticket gets sent up the ladder for a review.
He says since there’s no way to prove who bought a ticket, having it signed is extremely important when making a claim.
