Quinte area athletes were in the pool at the Anne Ottenbrite Invitational Special Olympics Swim Meet in Scarborough this weekend.
Luke Flynn, Kai Freeland and John Tinney tuned up for the Provincial Spring Games in Guelph later this month by swimming in 5 individual events establishing 3 personal bests each. Jessica Gregory recorded two personal bests. Grace Freeland had 3 excellent swims as well.
Three time 1984 Olympic medalist Anne Ottenbrite was in attendance.
